Jeffrey Michael Huyck Obituary

Jeffrey Michael Huyck of Saranac Lake, NY was born to Joan Brooking and Dirck Huyck on October 16, 1970 in Albany, NY. He lived in Rouses Point and Champlain for a short time before the family moved back to Albany. Jeff will be remembered for his jokes and his random thoughts. He always knew how to put a smile on your face. Jeff loved collecting coins and notes from all over the world. He had hoped to one day go back to England. You would normally see Jeff out every day collecting bottles and making his rounds to local establishments. Jeff loved to cook, especially pasta dishes.

Jeff is pre-deceased by his mother Joan, his maternal grandparents James and Ernestine Bushey, his paternal grandparents John and Natalie Huyck, and his uncle Christopher Huyck.

He is survived by his father Dirck Huyck of West Sand Lake, NY, his brother Toby Brooking of Glens Falls, his step-father Earl Brooking of Glens Falls, a nephew Grayson Brooking of Glens Falls, a special cousin Tina Bushey of Mooers, NY, his uncle Mike and aunt Melody Bushey of Rouses Point, NY, aunt Sandra Lafountain of Rouses Point, NY, aunt Cheryl and Uncle Perry Willis of Beekmantown, NY and several cousins and his beloved furbaby, BoBo.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at M. B. Clark Funeral Home, 148 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY. Interment will occur at St. Patrick's Cemetery in the spring of 2022.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Tri-Lakes humane society, or to M. B. Clark Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
