He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Leo Demers and Doris Demers (Watson); his wife Marilyn Miller of Saranac Lake; his daughters, Lee Anne DeMerse of Vermontville and Diane DeMerse (Joseph Delaney, Jr.) of Hollywood, FL; and his siblings, Dean DeMerse of Ft. Deposit, AL, Robert, William and Alice O'Hare. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
