He is survived by: his parents, James P. Morrissey and Susan Martis Morrissey; his brother John M. Morrissey; his wife Anne Fleming Morrissey; his nephew Michael J. Morrissey (Christine); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Margaret, Laura and Shawn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (149 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, causes close to Jim's heart and reflective of his lifelong commitment to service and community.
