She was predeceased by : her husband Helmut R. Maier. She is survived by : her children, Donna Elmer (Raymond Buzalsky) of Fort Worth, TX, Theresa Hudak (Christopher) of Oceanside, CA, Thomas Maier (Kimberly) of Danbury, CT and James Maier (Christine) of Broadalbin; and her sister Marie Gohn of Mt. Sinai, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Clements Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A burial was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
