He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst H. Weyand and Veronica Louise Fitzgibbon; and his grandfather John. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Jane (Barbara), Ernst Henry, Karl John, James Francis and Thomas Aquinas; his niece Barbara Weyand-Kulp; his wife Gloria; his stepchildren, Marie Dowd (John) and John May (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Emma Dowd, Jack Dowd, Lauren May and Kristen May. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clement's Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
