He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hickey and Corinne Hickey; and his brothers, Jim and Joe. He is survived by: his pet Wilson; his wife Marge; his children, Scott Hickey (Kristine), Kevin Hickey (Tara) and Erika Hickey; his sisters, Cecilia Campbell and Julia Pettit (Tom); his sisters-in-law, Marge Hickey and Maureen Hickey; his grandchildren, Logan, Liam, Caleb, Joshua and Fedora; and his sons, Bussing and Broadway of Saratoga Springs, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patriot Guard Riders of New York.
