She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Steuer and Minnie Furst Steuer; and her husband Harold Messinger. She is survived by: her children, Michael of Saratoga Springs, Ava (James Biffer) of Bloomfield, Elitza (Bruce Meyer) of Houston and Sharon Schultz of Dagsboro; and her granddaughters, Ayla Meyer Vilander, Carly Meyer and Sabrina Biffer.
