Robert C. Kennedy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 99, Robert C. Kennedy of Saratoga Springs, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Kennedy (Rose) and Charles P. Kennedy; his brother Richard W. Kennedy; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Ireland (Shepardson) and Wilfred Shepardson; and his in-laws, Freda and Arthur Shepardson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Shepardson Kennedy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery.
