He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shoen and Carolyn Shoen (Iler); his wife Bette Tetu-Shoen (Andrea Gardner); and his siblings, Margaret Susan Shoen and Patrick Matthew Shoen.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kara Lindsay Shoen of Ballston Spa, N. Y. and Megan Konstantakos (Peter) of Binghamton, N. Y.; his granddaughter Nikoleta Konstantakos; his siblings, Stephen Shoen of Ft. Myers Fla, Michael Shoen of Albany, N. Y., Catherine DeSanti (James) of Inverness, Fla. and Marianne Hunter (Joseph) of Wynantskill, N. Y.; and his aunt Agnes Regan (Ariz) of Tucson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
