He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Carter and Mary Monahan Carter; and his son Tod Carter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Paradise; his sons, Tom (Connie Carter) of Saugerties and Tim (Jennette Carter) of Saugerties; and his daughter-in-law Sue Carter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
