He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Fauteux and Mary Castler Fauteux; and his siblings, Frances Traumm, Melvin and William Fauteux.

He is survived by : his wife Eileen Jones; his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Denise Fauteux; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Earl Overin; and his grandchildren, Douglas Fauteux, Jessica Fauteux, Alicia Fauteux and Kellie Fauteux.
