He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Griffith and Nellie Jennings Griffith. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Nelson; his children, Patricia Petell (Paul), Gregory Griffith (Tracy Simmons), John Griffith (Karen) and Mary Doyle; his siblings, Elizabeth Harris, Gerald Griffith (Jacqueline) and Roger Griffith (Beryl); and his sister-in-law Joan Finnegan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
