He is survived by: his stepchild Chris; his son Christopher Canestraro (Kathy); his grandchildren, Eric Canestraro (Dianna) and Amanda Kruzinski (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Lucas and Connor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
