He was predeceased by: his parents, Hersh Szlamowicz and Sala Farbiash Szlamowicz; and his wife Amy Lefkowitz Szlamowicz. He is survived by: his children, David Szlamowicz (Jennifer) of Waterford, Lisa Knupp (Seth) of Niskayuna and Sara Steinback (Adam) of Colonie; his sibling Moe Szlamowicz of Colonie; and his grandchildren, Amy, Samuel Szlamowicz, Jacob, Ella Knupp and Olivia Steinback.
