He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Howland, Sr. and Shirly (Shubert); his son David; and his siblings, Margie Howland and Michael Howland.
He is survived by: his wife Ada "Midge" Howland (Diamond); his daughters, Samantha Howland Madl (James) of Gallupville and Jennifer Lynn Howland of Schoharie; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Katlyn (Eddie), Madeline, Gina, Jasmine, Mya and Emily; his great grandchildren, Josiah, Vaida, Evlyn and Freyja; his siblings, Adelbert Adair (Vicki) of Scotia, Mark Adair of Schenectady, Loretta Holdredge of Oregon and Ray Howland of Mt. Upton; and his siblings' child Diamond.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Langan Funeral Home (327 Main St, Schoharie, NY 12157). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests potted plants or memorial contributions in memory of Harry to the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092.
