It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Cannito of Schroeppel, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roberta Cannito to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Putman and Agnes Putman (Highers); and her brother Steven. She is survived by: her husband Frederick; her daughter Mary Cannito-Coville; her son-in-law Charles Coville Jr.; her grandchildren, Ian, Isaiah and Nadia Coville; her siblings, Connie Fort (Walt) and Robert Putman (Chong Suk); and her siblings-in-law, Anthony Cannito and Anita Pescosolido (Jeffrey). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home (209 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CNS Northstars Marching Band (Northstar Band Parents, Inc., 116 Pine Tree Dr. N. Syr, NY 13212).
