Erika Joy Gargan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erika Joy Gargan of Schuyler Lake, New York, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her grandparents, James, Dolores Gargan and Arthur Dill; her cousin Jonathan Plescia; and her friend Kathy Funfgeld.
She is survived by : her parents, Ed Gargan and Doris Gargan; her grandmother Margret Dill; her brothers, Brian and Thomas Gargan; her nieces and nephews, Quentin, Greyson and Elizabeth Gargan; her aunts and uncles, Sharon Rysanek (Daniel), Ruth Gargan-Klinger (Ronald), Colleen Kohnen (Ted), Werner Dill (Diane), Kathleen Plescia (John), Helmut Dill (Valerie), Mary Viviani (James), James Gargan (Aristea) and Christine Casiano (Raymond); and her cousins, Kristine Tisdale (Luigi Paranello), Jeffrey Rysanek (Suzanne), Adam Tisdale (Rebekah), Heather DeClemente (Steve), Teddy Kohnen (Dervla), Priscilla Kasenchak (Peter), Aaron Tisdale (Courtney), Joseph Rysanek (Jade), Michael Plescia, Sarah Klinger, Jessica Klinger, Colette Lorenz (Kevin), Joshua Klinger, Ashley Casiano, Karl Dill, Chase Viviani, Makayla Viviani, Andrew Gargan, Ryan Gargan and Christian Casiano. She is also survived by her many cousin's children.
Erika excelled in her career as a Licensed Massage Therapist and continued her education in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine but wasn't able to finish that path due to COVID.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Mental Health America (MHA), in Erika's memory, so they may further awareness of any and all issues related to mental health.
