It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas J. Caisse Jr. (Scotia, New York), who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas J. Caisse Sr. and Shirley D. Caisse (Krone); and his sister Patricia Talbot. He is survived by: his wife Videlia Caisse (Carrasco); his children, Victor J. (Nicole) and Shirley Ann (Joseph); his grandchildren, Joshua, Crystal, Jacob, Videlia (Anthony), Victoria (Denis) and Angelica (Mike); his great grandchildren, Penelope, Santo Antonio and Maya Keza; and his siblings, Michael (Carla), Colleen (Michael), Kathleen (Kurt) and Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (231 2nd St, Scotia, NY 12302). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doug's honor to St. Jude's Children Hospital, or Wounded Warriors Project.
