She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband William; her children, William (Kate) and Janice (Robert); her siblings, Mark Wurthmann (Andrea) and Christine Pennington; her grandchildren, Samantha, Brian (Alexandra), Valerie (Matthew), Michael, Olivia and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Kadence and Akasha.

In lieu of flowers donations in Carla Jean's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
