He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Doody and Doris Doody (Gilligan); and his sister Alice "Ollie" Appleton. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jane Doody (Vienna); his children, Paul Doody (Christine), Jane Bulger (Dave), Patrick Doody (Karen), Dennis Doody (Colleen), Christopher Doody (Martha), Michael Doody and David Doody (Mike); his grandchildren, Kayla Talbott (Cole), Brynna Doody, Dan Bulger (Nicole), Katie Bulger (Alex), Matthew, Claire Doody, Ryan Doody (Simone), Shannon Doody (Evan), Shealyn, Andrew, Mallory Doody (Justyn), Dan Bredesen (Lauryn), Jay Doody (Amelia) and Anna Doody (Colby); and his sister Mary Ann Peters. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
