Kathryn (Stehle) A. Wnuk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathryn (Stehle) A. Wnuk of Sloan, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Felix J. "Phil" Wnuk; her parents, Norman Stehle and Antoinette Stehle; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Betty" Cummings (G. Craig), Kathryn Getz (late Frank Jr.), Margaret Kruse, Carolyn Wozniak (Thomas), Ronald, Theresa Kruse (Thomas), Thomas and Magdalena "Maggie" Wheeler (Jeffrey); and her sister Dorothy Bycina. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church Order Flowers (34 Francis Ave, Sloan, NY 14212).
Donations may be made in Kathryn's name to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
