Mary Anne Holtz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Anne Holtz of Sloan, New York, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Holtz; and her parents, Edward Madigan and Marie Madigan. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Palmer (Encil), Michael Holtz (TJ) and Donna Broniszewski (Phil); her grandchildren, Lynn Prebis (Tim Brown), Philip Broniszewski (Amanda), Theresa Holtz (Ven Harper) and Michael Holtz (Kirstie Bobbitt); and her great grandchild Evelyn Grace Brown.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (5090 Transit Rd, Depew, NY 14043). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Andrew's Church (34 Francis Ave, Sloan, NY 14212).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to the Erie County SPCA (https://yourspca.org) or the Special Olympics, causes that reflect her compassion for animals and her support for athletes.
