She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her son Steven; and her siblings, Lily Ort, Lawrence Kaplan, Dorothy Fleischer and Dan Kaplan.

She is survived by: her children, Andrew Schmetterling (Paula) and Lisa Sosin (David); and her grandchildren, Timothy Sosin, Drew Schmetterling, Sara Schmetterling and Josh Sosin.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Anita's memory would be greatly appreciated.
