He was predeceased by: his parent John E. Ginter; and his spouse Hester Ginter (VanOmmeren). He is survived by: his parent Mary Ginter; his children, Diane Stumbaugh (Jeff), Douglas Ginter (Bob), Debra Whiting (Will), Donna Girvin (Bill), Doris Brozowski (Joe) and Donald Ginter (Bonnie); and his siblings, Paul Ginter, Mildred and John P. Ginter. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Bethlehem United Methodist Church or Selkirk Fire Company #3.
