He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Murphy and Elizabeth Murphy (Owens); and his brother Donald Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Laney; his grandchildren, Payton, Cellinn Fontaine, Nicolas, Madelyn, Sophia Orta and Fredilyn Murphy; and his sister-in-law Francis Murphy. He is also survived by his wife of 53 years and their four children.
