He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Helen Heitman Holmes; his children, George A., Jean Tim (James) and Debbie Thompson (Ross); his grandsons, David (Paula), Peter (Grace) and Gabriel Thompson; and his sister-in-law Patricia Kuchenbeisser. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
