He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother-in-law Franco Catena; his wife Karen Aversa; his daughters, Theresa Aversa and Brenda Aversa; his grandchildren, Savannah Gropp, James Gropp and Nicholas Gropp; his siblings, Lina Aversa (Catena), Antonietta Aversa, Nancy Aversa (Rossi), Roberto Aversa, Gina Franco, Luciana Aversa and Adriana Aversa; and his siblings-in-law, Antonio Allegrucci, Luigi Rossi, Elio Franco and Jacqueline Aversa.
