He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pilcher and Marjorie Pilcher; his brother Robert Pilcher; and his son-in-law Chris Hochheimer. He is survived by: his wife Donna C. Pilcher; his daughters, Lori Pilcher, Terri DiMaggio (Rick) and Cheryl Hochheimer; and his grandchildren, Mandi, Casey, Gianna, Matt and Michael.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm in Edward's memory.
