It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene E. Knapp (Spencerport, New York), born in Jamestown, New York, who passed away on November 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Knapp. She is survived by : her children, Peter (Leslie), Gail Florence (Al), Becky Johnson (Norm) and Kathy Gissin (late Dave); her grandchildren, Leah Peterson (Jeff), Emily Miller (Rich), Jason Florence (Kim), Sabra Florence (Derek), Sarah Florence, Rebecca Florence (Ricardo), Ben Florence, Jackie Smith (late Steve), Nathan Johnson (Laurie), Peter Johnson (Alicia), Sonia Hennelly (Shaun), Jacob Gissin (Megan) and Zach Gissin (Evin); her brother Dick Webster (Selma); and her sister-in-law Leah Taylor (late Carroll).

Donations to honor her memory may be made to the Spencerport Wesleyan Church or the Ogden Farmers' Library.
