He is survived by: his children, Rubén Ruíz, Jr. (Carmela) and Elizabeth Heuer (Robert); his grandchildren, Marissa Livingston (Chad), Adam Ruíz, Daniel Heuer (Emily), Jarred Heuer (Courtney) and Adriana Ruíz; his siblings, Lillian, Hector, Lucy, Annie, Ray and Haydee; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Christian, Rosalie and Alice; and his siblings' children, May, Eddie, Cindy, Evie, Sophia and Andre.
