She is survived by: her daughters, Tasha James (Ken), Christina James (Jacob) and Latoya James; her grandchildren, La'shaun, Dejah, La'Niah, Christian, Isaiah, Elijah, Jeremiah, Azaria and ForeverLove; and her great grandchildren, Derek Humphrey and De'Arra James. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Red Cross or PETA in memory of Anita's compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to helping others.
