With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Diaz (Staten Island, New York), who passed away on September 16, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Freist and Jane Freist; and her sister Carol Cannatelli. She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Christopher Diaz and Valerie Matkovich (Brandi); and her sisters, Susan Saliski and Jane Petrizzi. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marty's Place Senior Dog Sanctuary, 118 County Road 526 Allentown, NJ 08501 in Barbara's memory.
