He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McCahill and Eileen McCahill; and his brothers, Donald and Charles. He is survived by: his wife Dianne E Thompson; his daughter Tracie Gonzalez (Jim); his granddaughter Brianne; his sisters, Lorraine Sullivan (Dennis) and Eileen Kavanagh (John); his sisters-in-law, Doris and Mary McCahill; and his cousin Ethna Martin. He is also survived by several cousins.
