Cynthia Accime-Tobias Obituary
Our Princess! Our little Princess was born in Brooklyn NY on March 13, 1980. She was the joy of our little family of three. She was very sensible and ambitious. As a kid, we rarely had to help her with homework. She would say things like "I got this" and she did most of the time because she was an incognito genius. She grew up with all her imperfections (like the rest of us) and became a complete woman with a family of her own.
Our Cynthia was an extrovert who would go above and beyond to assist others even when she didn't have to. She was respectful to all. She respected her elders by not calling them by their first names. She was a good friend, an excellent family member, and a great mother and wife. She was defiant and also sweet in all facets of life. She loved life. She loved people, especially children. She was the mother of all children.
Before she left us on Friday 3rd, 2022 at 3:06 pm, the family was everything to her. She managed through bad times to realize her dream which is a master's degree in sociology and started to work on her passion to become a chef to create: Cynthia's table the restaurant.
Her life ambition led her to one promotional job after another. When she wanted to do something, no one could deter her. She was a determined young woman despite it all. She wanted to be remembered as a beautiful human being who enjoyed her family and others with infinite love.
She survived by her children as she called them: Fofo for Fortune, Legi for Legin, and her husband Jelly for Nigel Tobias. Then, her brother (Freyfrey) Jeffrey Accime, her dear mother and best friend Micheline Jasmin-Accime, her favorite dance partner/dad Jason Accime, and lastly her godmother and godfather Marie Jasmin-Antoine and Frantz Jasmin. Now as she wanted, she is with her daughter "Empress" cuddled in heaven.
A sepsis infection caused Cynthia's death. Cynthia will be missed and our life will never be the same without her. Rest in lovely peace Princess. We will cherish your daunting memories until we meet again. We love you more than you'll ever know.
We can judge others, we can love others but can't do both at the same time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Patrick's Church located at 53 St. Patrick's Place Staten Island, New York 10306. Interment will follow in Oceanview Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, June 10, 2022, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
