It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise L. Hernandez-Kempe of Staten Island, New York, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on September 23, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Kempe; her children, Doreen Renée Knight and Jason Brown (Michelle); her stepchild Katlyn Kempe; her sisters, Andrea Lopez (Bob) and Debby Guiffre (John); and her grandchildren, Jerard DeFazio and Aléxxa-Rae Aswad (Eddie). She was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
