Scarecrow Jonze wrote a sympathy message

“I worked with Dino back in 1987-88 at Sile Distributors in NYC. He was a knowledgeable, proficient gunsmith and artisan, IMHO, and was also like a mentor in an older brother kind of way. Some of the best subway rides I had on the R train going home were with Dino when he decided to take the ferry and not the express bus back to Staten Island. He was a great guy and always had a joke and a smoke for me. Dino was a good man, a good friend and a great American. Sincerely, Robert Graham.”
