It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emanuella M. Scopelliti (Staten Island, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Emanuella is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco Scopelliti; and her nephew Thomas Cucchiara. She is survived by: her son Carmine; her grandchildren, Christina, Robert and Carmine (Madeline); her stepgrandchildren, Peter and Olivia; her sister Marie Cucchiara; her nephew Joseph; and her daughter-in-law Joanna.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St Thomas the Apostle Church (50 Maguire Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
