He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie; his children, Steven (Julann), Gene (Barbara), Mark, Danielle and His; his sister Margaret Scherr; his sister-in-law Rachel Rosa; and his niece Maria (Joey). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Eugene's Memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
