She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Bassett and Helen Bassett; her children, Howard, Charles, Frances, Robert and Daniel; her husband Edwin Hostetter; her children, Ruth Anne, Suzanne Joy, Timothy Joel and Carol Lynne; her adoptive son Shung-Toon Woon; her daughter Samantha; her brothers, Howard, Charles, Robert Bassett and Daniel Bassett of Utica, NY.; her children, Ruth Nietz (Denis) of Northwood, OH, Ed Hostetter, Jr. (Babette) of Pleasant Valley, NY, Suzanne Duryee (Bret) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tim Hostetter (Barbara) of Hyde Park, NY and Carol Phillips (James) of Newburgh, NY; her grandchildren, Joel Nietz (Lori), Dan Nietz (Andrea), Scott Nietz (Sarah), Danielle Carney (Rich), Tyler Hostetter, Courtney Lee (Bobby), Whitney Hostetter, Nicholas Hostetter, Louise Noble, Emilie Hostetter, Peter Hostetter, Benjamin Phillips, Nathaniel Phillips and Joshua Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Molly, Sadie, Gabrielle, Brady, Olivia, Zachary Nietz and Farrah Carney. She was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren, plus their spouses, and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Fran Hostetter may be sent to Tabernacle Christian Academy, 155 Academy St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601, where Fran was an elementary school teacher.
