With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George W. McClaughry Jr. (Staten Island, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on July 12, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George McClaughry and Susan McClaughry; his wife Rosemary; his siblings, Mildred Porretta, Charles McClaughry and Doris Callahan; and his great grandchild Eleanor.

He is survived by: his children, Susan DeMuth (Louis), Lynne Walsh (Donald), Karen McClaughry, George McClaughry III (Gerilyn) and Thomas McClaughry (Fran); and his brother Thomas McClaughry. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the following organizations: Addeo Hospice Residence: Make check payable to SIUH Foundation and send to 78 Meisner Ave. Staten Island, New York 10306 in Memory of George McClaughry in memo on check.
