We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024, at the age of 79, John C. Woodman (Staten Island, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John C. Woodman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Woodman and Margaret Woodman (Olsen); and his sisters, Charlotte Zinicola, Margaret Curry and Anita Townsley.

He is survived by : his significant other Nancy (Olsen); his children, Suzanne (Brian Miesegaes) and John (Dawn Last); his grandchildren, Ashley and Christian Miesegaes; and his sister Joan Gunning. He is also survived by his family and friends, traveling with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home (350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 9:15 AM and at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Ocean View Cemetery (3315 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306).

In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Port Richmond High School Alumni Association, 85 St. Josephs Ave, Staten Island, NY 10302 to provide College Scholarships for those in need.
