He is survived by : his children, John J. Fleming and Faith Ann Paccione; his former life partner Faith Gollinello; and his siblings, Francis Fleming, Elizabeth Tiedemann and Carol Schembre. He is also survived by five Grandchildren.

His brother, James Fleming died in 2017.In lieu of flowers, friends may send a donation to a local or national food bank.
