He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Mercado and Guadalupe Mercado. He is survived by: his wife Annie Ruth Maddela; his children, Joanne Jimenez (Ulysses), Pastor Joey Mercado (Gigi) and Malou M. Guglielmo (Gerard); his grandchildren, Jay Jimenez and Jenny Mance (Marc); his great grandchild Mason Mance; and his sister Rose Mercado-Albuero. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
