Lisle Ulric Downes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2022, Lisle Ulric Downes of Staten Island, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Eudora Downes and Theodora Prescott; and his niece Yvette. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Downes; his children, Sonia, Sophia Downes of Plainfield, Noel, Norman of Old Bridge, NJ and Christopher of Orlando, FL.; his daughters-in-law, Wendy and Theresa; his sister Joan Downes of Staten Island, NY.; his nieces, Judy, Felicia, Lois, Maria and Shanda; and his cousins, Tull and Johnson. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lisle's name sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) would be deeply appreciated.
