She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred DeFazio. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Cassella; her son-in-law Daniel Cassella; her granddaughters, Annette, Jennifer and Danielle; her grandchildren-in-law, Thomas and Pasquale; and also, Audriana, Thomas, Lillian, Alessia and Antonia.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to The St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
