He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Elizabeth Aiken Smith; and his brother Christopher B. Smith. He is survived by: his father Nathaniel Hugh Smith, Sr.; his siblings, Denise Smith of Ridgeland, S. C., Sharon Frost of Ridgeland, S. C., Nicole Smith of Ridgeland, S. C., Tonya Askew of Florida, One and Kenneth Smith of Ridgeland, S. C.; his aunt Gladys Scaife; his goddaughters, Zayani Philips and Tranece Philips; and his niece Aniya Stokes. He is also survived by one uncle, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
