She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Maria Castro; her husband Efrain Perez; her children, Efrain Perez, Jr., Ivette Perez (Ivy), Daniel Perez (Danny) and Luis E. Perez, Sr.; her grandchildren, Ernesto, Luis E. Jr., Javier, Amanda, Melissa, Johnathan, Raymond, Louel, Ryan, Brandon, Jacqueline, Melanie, Isabel and Rebecca; and her siblings, Maria Antonia, Jose, Eva Irma, Alicia, Junior, Orlando and Evelyn.
After getting Covid at the end of 2020, she had three strokes and very slowly started to decline leaving her in a vegetative state.
