We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 95, Rose Zaccaria (Staten Island, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Rose farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rose is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Josephine Tranchina and Andrew Tranchina; her brother Anthony; and her husband Mario Zaccaria. She is survived by : her sister-in-law Madeline; and her caregiver Tina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

A wake was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Casey Funeral Home (350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace (90 3rd St., Brooklyn, NY 11231).
