He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond G. Sykes and Rita Sykes. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond J. Sykes (Nancy), Jacquelyn R. Boyle (John), Ann Sykes Meldrum (Michael), Joseph Sykes (Alberta), Edmund Sykes (Celeste), Rita and Kelly Ann Hartmann (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
