She was predeceased by: her parents, Gregory White (Gamel) and Mary M. Lewis (Honey); and her brother Milton Jerome Lewis (Mel). She is survived by: her husband Ernest Clinton; her daughters, Shanee Monique Mary Lewis and Ivyuanah Keshe Marcus; her stepchildren, Kevin Clinton, I'sha Clinton, Shameek Clinton and Eternity Clinton; her siblings, Amel Delores Lewis, Latonya Brownly, Gregory Allen Lewis of Atlanta, GA and Christopher Lamb; her aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Brisbane of Charleston, SC, Alieah Ismail of Philadelphia, PA, Jerome Cromwell, Zaid Ismail, Ahmed Ismail of Philadelphia, PA and Justice Marcus; and her pets, Mocha and Damu. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Sherri was recently recognized as one of Staten Island's Heroes for her tireless efforts during the pandemic.
With these health challenges, she promoted kidney disease awareness through fundraising and participating in the annual National Kidney Foundation - Kidney Walk.
